It got spooky in the yard

 

      

Though most of the boats are long out of the water and the leaves are changing colours, the club members flocked together for a spooky shindig. Around 120 scary creatures were gathering around the fires, enjoying conversation, wine and a first class BBQ. The contribution was overwhelming and we would like to thank everybody for coming, for either bringing a salad or simply a friendly smile to make this event one to remember.

The decoration, done by a team of talented members, was perfect and the kids enjoyed the games and treats that were prepared – a perfect surrounding for all the witches, monsters and other shady creatures.

    

At a later hour, everybody gathered around the fire and the guitar was produced. A beautiful piece performed by two of our youngest members on a ukulele, made everybody silent and listening to then break out in great cheering. It felt like a family event and sure we can be proud of our little sailing family in Glandore.
