MEMBERS
- For the purpose of registration, the number of members is declared to be unlimited
- The subscribers to the Memorandum of Association and such other persons as the General Committee shall admit to membership shall be members of the Club.
- There shall be seven classes of members, namely: ordinary members, honorary members, junior members, youth members, associate members, temporary members and family members.
- Every candidate for ordinary, honorary, youth, associate or temporary membership must be 18 years of age or over.
Candidates for membership may apply in writing in the manner prescribed by the General Committee. The application may be submitted with the Annual Subscription Fee, and where applicable, the Entrance Fee. - The Secretary should provide acknowledgment to each new member, as soon as is practically possible.
- The subscription and entrance fee where applicable of each new ordinary member shall become due on application. The annual subscription shall relate to a calendar year and shall be decided by the Club at the Annual General Meeting.

- The General Committee shall in every case have absolute discretion deciding whether any candidate for membership is suitable for election and whether such candidate shall or shall not be admitted to membership of the Club.
- The General Committee shall not in any circumstances be required to give any reason for the refusal of any applications.
HONORARY MEMBERS
- The General Committee may elect Honorary Members of the Club subject to ratification of a General Meeting of the Club members.
- Honorary Members shall be elected for life or until they resign, retire or are removed as hereinafter provided.
- An Honorary Member shall not be liable for an entrance fee nor for any annual subscription.
- An Honorary Member shall enjoy all the privileges of membership including the right to vote at meetings, to propose candidates for membership or office.
JUNIOR MEMBERS
- The General Committee shall have power to elect as Junior Members candidates who are under the age of 18 years on the 1st June in a current year.
Junior Members shall have no voting power and no right to propose or second candidates for membership or for office.
Junior Members shall not be in a position to remain as a Junior Member in the calendar year following the year in which they attains the age of 18 years. They may apply for a transfer to the class of youth or ordinary member in which case no entrance fee shall be payable.
YOUTH MEMBERS
- The General Committee shall have power to elect as Youth Members candidates who are under the age of 25 years on the 1st June in a current year.
Youth Members shall have no voting power and no right to propose or second candidates for membership or for office.
Youth Members shall not be in a position to remain as a Youth Member in the calendar year following the year in which he attains the age of 25 years and they may apply for a transfer to the class of ordinary member in which case no entrance fee shall be payable.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
- The General Committee shall have power to elect as Associate Members candidates over the age of 18 years who are not boat owners or boat helms provided such membership is applied for in a manner prescribed by the General Committee.
Associate Members shall have no voting power and no right to propose or second candidates for membership or for office.
TEMPORARY MEMBERS
- The General Committee shall have power to elect as Temporary Members candidates visiting the Club for a period not exceeding 5 consecutive days once in any year or for the period of a specific Open Club event or for such other period as the General Committee may determine from time to time, provided such membership is applied for in a manner prescribed by the General Committee.
Temporary Members shall have no voting power and no right to propose or second candidates for membership or for office.
FAMILY MEMBERS
- Family Membership may be granted to a person who is eligible for ordinary membership to include his/her spouse/partner, and any children who are eligible for Junior Membership and Youth Membership. Such Membership shall exercise only one vote.
