More good news for the continued operation of our sailing school came this week as our Training Centre Manager, Kevin Percy, qualified as an Irish Sailing Senior Instructor having travelled to Dublin to be re-programmed and updated. Kevin’s qualification creates more redundancy for the sailing school in our ability to certify courses and expand the school, especially outside the peak period when many of our instructors are away at school or college. Kevin, along with a great team of volunteers, was instrumental over the past two school terms as we trialed  Transition Year Motorboat and Transition Year Sailing Programmes with Skibbereen Community School. There is now scope to expand these programmes going forward also. Well done Kevin !
