The South Coast Dragon championship took place last Wednesday to Friday at Cork Week 2022.
Seven boats comprising of teams from Royal St George YC, Kinsale YC and Glandore Harbour YC competed for the honours in Cork Harbour. Three days of varied wind speeds proved challenging for race officials with winds blowing from 15 knots to 2 knots in a matter of minutes. Glandore Harbour YC we’re represented by team “Supremacy” helmed by Lee Miles and crewed by Eolann Miles and Ben Perez. Team “Supremacy” topped off a great few days sailing with a championship race win on the final day of racing. Huge congratulations to the young crew aged 14 & 15 on such an achievement at such a young age.

Championship honours went to Cameron Good’s “Little Fella” from Kinsale YC retaining his title he won last year in Glandore well done team “Little Fella”
