For the first time since 1982 the event was postponed due to very light winds.

Racing was rescheduled to Monday 17 August with FG at 1820. The Squib & Dragon fleets sailed a challenging course out of the Harbour to Goat Point and High Island in a nice south westerly breeze.

The winners were:

Squib – Trojan (Sean Thompson & Mary Casey)

Dragon – Pongo (Diarmaid O’Donovan, W. Limrick, Lar Casey)
